The Wiseguys Network was set up to facilitate the unmasking of the some of the main frontgoups operated by the Organization of Scientology; Narconon, Criminon, WISE, Applied Scholastics, Way to Happiness and some of their “Citizen’s Groups”.
The Wiseguys Network will also counter some of the more unscrupulous online activities that have been conducted in promoting their Narconon drug rehabilitation program.
The Organization of Scientology have conducted what is known as “domain spamming” to promote their Narconon program. Their “Domain spamming” involves purchasing domain names (website urls), and hosting drug rehabilitation “information” and directing any visitors to Narconon as their “recommended” treatment facility.
People who are seeking treatment for drug addiction are often in a vulnerable position and are urgently needing help, and “googling” “drug rehab” produces results than are full of Narconon “Fronts” due to their domain spamming activities. Here is a list of confirmed Narconon domains from 2003.
The Wiseguys Network provides Kits to enable people to simply and for little cost establish a “Wiseguys Front” website that poses as a “drug rehabilitation” website, but that warns visitors of the dangers of Narconon, recommends Narcotics Anonymous and provides straightforward guidance regarding; what questions to ask when seeking treatment, how to effectively extract someone from the Narconon program, and how to obtain refunds for Narconon treatment.
This online campaign against Narconon will run beside "in real life" activities against WISE. Information Packs will be sent to Doctors, Dentists, Chiropracters and other businessmen that are typically targeted for recruitment by Scientology's WISE FrontGroup.
